Beta Playground Updates, Code Overhauls, Retro Mode, Tweaks, Bug Fixes, and More
All of the Beta Playgrounds have been updated once more! With the recent discovery of Toontown assets from 2001, the Toontown community now has access to most of the original assets used in the Beta version of the game. As such, we have decided to swap out our fan-recreations of these playgrounds with the originals. Each area is now nearly identical to how it appeared in Beta Toontown Online. In a future update to Toontown Offline, we will also be adding the streets that connect each of the Beta Playgrounds.
The Shticker Book and Friends List icons will change whenever you reside in a Beta Playground.
The jumping mechanics will act as they did in Toontown Beta whenever you reside in a Beta Playground.
The Trolleys in Beta Playgrounds will now only bring you to a collection of five different trolley games.
Improved the animation for hopping on the Trolley in Beta Playgrounds.
Improved the animation when going through tunnels in Beta Playgrounds.
This past September, another major Toontown leak known as Anesidora was published. This leak contains a bunch of scrapped artifacts and original source code from Toontown Online. Before this update, Toontown Offline ran on a considerable chunk of our own custom server code. However, now that most Disney server code is public, we have decided to swap out our custom work for the original. For all features in which this has been done, major stability improvements await.
Added the Disney Firework Manager. Firework shows should now be more stable!
Added the Disney Tutorial Manager. The Toontorial should now be more stable, and the position of the first Flunky battle is now true to the original game.

Added the Disney Fishing Manager. Fishing should now be more stable!
Added the Disney Bingo Manager. Fish Bingo should now be more stable!

Added the Disney Catalog Manager. The Catalog should now be more stable!
Added the Disney Doodle Manager. Doodles should now be more stable, and doodles should no longer be able to clip out of bounds in Estates!
Added the Disney Suit Invasion Manager. Cog Invasions should now be more stable, randomized Cog Invasions are now possible, and support for ALL Mega Invasion holidays is now implemented as a result!
Retro Mode has been re-implemented into Toontown Offline under a new vision! In the past, Retro Mode was one huge setting that would enable a bunch of old Toontown elements all at once. The new implementation of Retro Mode, however, is setting-orientated. Rather than being one setting that changes a bunch of things, Retro Mode is now a collection of various settings, big and small. There are many aspects of classic Toontown that you may or may not like- and now you can customize which ones you get to see. Whether you prefer the old map to the new, or enjoy having a stretched screen, there's a Retro Mode option that's right for you. You can currently toggle the different Retro Mode settings from the bottom of your settings.json file found in your Toontown Offline directory. Expect to see more settings added to Retro Mode in the future!
Improved the Classic Pick-A-Toon screen.
Improved the camera angle in the Classic Make-A-Toon to better fit widescreen monitors.
Added the Fish Poker holiday. This was an unreleased feature found in recent Anesidora leak. Activate Fish Poker by enabling holiday 130 with the StartHoliday Magic Word, then step up to a fishing dock to participate!
Added a new feature to help out Legit Mode players- Building Helpers! Using this feature, players can instantly recover Toon buildings that are part of their Toontask. Simply walk up to a building you have a task for, say "Help!" in Speedchat, and a Toon will appear to restore the building for you. This feature is enabled by default, but can be toggled in the server settings.
Added the Library of Merge Conflict Museum, a tribute building to the history of Toontown Online. This building can be found in the Toontown Outskirts.
